Rosslare’s MD-D04B is a plug-in expansion module for Rosslare’s AC-425x-B access control panels that provides a 4-reader interface, 4 supervised inputs with end-of line (EOL) resistor protection, and 4 relay outputs (5 Amp Form-C N.O./N.C.) to the panel. Installation of the module takes under one minute with the tailored expansion port in the panels and auto- recognize by the panel. Once it is installed and the panel is powered on, the expansion is recognized by Rosslare’s AxTraxNG™ or AxTraxPro™ server, and the MD-D04B can be programmed for access control and automation. Advanced communication with the controller allows for firmware update and real-time event logging, with support for full offline operation by the host panel.

Rosslare’s MD-D04B 4-reader expansion module is designed with a focus on high quality and reliability and is ideal for residential and commercial applications.

Easy to install and operate, the MD-D04B expansion board features state-of-the-art supervised communications with the controller.

The expansion board adds four reader ports, four additional readers or keypad inputs, four relay outputs, and four supervised inputs to the access control panel.

As a result, an AC-425x-B access control panel with the MD-D04B expansion board can support a total of eight readers and eight doors. In addition, it is possible to add any keypad or biometric reader that supports Wiegand, Clock-and-Data or any other format supported by Rosslare's AxTraxNG or AxTraxPro Access Control Management Software transmission formats.

The host access controller has complete control over the additional readers, inputs, and outputs of the MD-D04B expansion board.
