RG-WS7816C, Enterprise-Class 10GE Wireless Access Controller

The RG-WS7816C is an enterprise-class 10GE access controller launched by Ruijie. Designed for medium- and large-scale networks, it can flexibly manage Ruijie wireless access points (APs), helping build a secure, efficient, and easy-to-manage wireless network.

High Capacity and High Performance

The device supports multiple ports, including 40GE, 10GE and GE ports, with a maximum forwarding capacity of 120 Gbps. It comes with 128 licenses by default and can be expanded to 8,000 licenses, flexibly meeting service needs.

Full-Series AP Management

The device can manage Ruijie's full range of APs, enabling flexible networking across Wi-Fi 7, Wi-Fi 6 and Wi-Fi 5 APs. It also supports fair client access, effectively improving the performance of low-speed clients.

Intelligent Load Balancing

Client-based load balancing, steering clients to less congested APs to prevent overload. Band-based load balancing, steering clients to the 5 GHz frequency band to enhance bandwidth utilization. Traffic-based load balancing, steering clients to APs with less traffic to increase the average bandwidth for client access.

Multiple Authentication Modes

MAB authentication: It frees a user from repeatedly entering the username and password that are required only upon first login. Other authentication modes: 802.1X, Web-based, and PPSK authentication.

Unified Cloud Management

Unified management through WIS Cloud, eliminating the need for on-site provisioning. Real-time alarms and intelligent troubleshooting, improving O&M efficiency.
